========================SERVER GUIDE FOR 1.9 SERVER! BY TOXICK=========================

Well hi, Here is my guide

worked for me hope it does for you

enjoy I know that Iceman has now released ready mir files. but this might help few people

Step 1: First thing is get server files. located ***************************/LoM2/M2.rar (Thanks to Xander for Hosting)

Step 2: Put them into c:\MirSrv\Mirserver

Step 3: Now Get the 3IN1 Programe. Located http://www.richens.dubhosting.com/lomcn/M2Server20050114.rar (Thanks to Richens for hosting, and MiloFoxburr for releasing)

SteP 4: Extract the 3IN1 Programe and config.ini into C:\MirSrv\mirserver\Mir200

Step 5: Goto C:\MirSrv\mirserver\SelGate\config.txt . It should look like

Step 6: goto C:\MirSrv\mirserver\LogServer\LogData.ini . It should look like

I dont have a gamegate.ini i only have a config in my gamegate folder

I think the gamegate.ini file is for the new gamegate that Milo and EvilEvil released, the one that stops cheats etc, i recommned using that one.

Ive looked and there isnt a gamegate.ini in there just make the file anyway and stick it in there and see if u get any luck, oh i think this gamegate only runs on net IPs not loopback ><

so will i just make a file called gamegate.ini and put this into it

Before doing all the IPs as a network, try just 127.0.0.1 as see if that works.

The HH8 gamegate does not need to be registered at all

Infact if you use the 1.4 DBSrv the only thing that needs the reg server is the M2server

now it seems to work fine, mobs spawn and that but then my m2server just crashes

ffs now im getting errors everywhere. In login gate it says Windows socket error: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted (10048), on API 'bind'
and when i try to open loginsrv it says the same but only it opens a window and says it

If you are on Win XP, try logging off and then in again, and then run the programs again.

the 3in1 dl is carrying a trojan, Trojan.Feutel to be exact, r there any other 3in1 downloads available?

No it is not, some virus scanners like AVG pick it up as a trojan, but IT IS NOT. Dont be afraid to download it (if you are downloading it from more trustworthy people like Milo or me (it is up to you wether you trust me or not :P))

As for the files being chinese, there aint any way to get fully english files besides to translate them yourself, wich may i add is pointless seeing as soon there will be a new version of files out!

ah ok, na ive dled it about 5 times my firewall (norton) auto deletes it wen i unzip it, ill close norton then unzip it cheers m8

No it is not. Some virus scanners pick it up as a trojan but it is not.
