I think that means your pc cannot handle the load.

Try this-
cntrl/Alt/delete to bring up task manager
select processes tab
set M2Server to below normal
and DBServer to realtime
Might help you out.

oh thanks. I'll give it a shot. I can still connect to server and get online for about 30 secs then freezes. DBserver keeps disconnecting and reconnecting.

it's not your pc at all, check your sql passwords and what is your db name?

Actually it is, if he had a wrong password or DB name, he wouldn't have been able to get in game at all.
[RunDB] Save DB Timed Out... means his pc can't handle running the game and saving to database, I had the exact same problem when I first started out. Added ram and it was fine.

Yeah I changed DB name and still done the same. I'll either get some more ram or a new pc cos the one i'm using is about 4-5 year old.

When i'm running m2server and the 6 exe.s this is what I have.

CPU useage 5-18% (changes between them)
PF 783mb
My ram is 248 - just a little lower then you suggested.

Could it by my PC security?

ne1 figured out how to sort this?

his pc only has 248 mb ram, thats his problem his pc cant handle it. 512 should run it to a certain limit.

also, try to get your Page File Usage down before you run mir, to 200-250, by ending programs, then re run the server files.

my PFU atm is at 189 when i run mir server files, it only goes up by about 250-300, that would help you out, if your still having the problem running it on only 248 mb ram, try taking out the mongen or replaceing it with a blank text file.

Can also try bringing up task manager, then set priority of DBServer to Realtime, M2Server to Below Normal.

tbh i dont really reccomend doing this, it causes more lag ingame, or it does for me anyway. take out th mongen text file, use task manager and end all the programs, then run the server that way, i had the old mir 1.4 runnin on my old AMD K6, that has 128 mb ram, but i had to run it with no mongen

Just buy some more ram or upgarde your pc, 256mb ram is not suitable for running a server even during testing etc.

im sure i had a problem with this a while ago, make sure in all your DB paths that the file names contain the caps EG,

you might have c:\mirserver\

what you need to do it make sure its exacly the same like C:\MirServer

hope you get what i mean, im sure it can read the destination but causes problems for running the programs as its constantly saving data ETC which could cause you to "lag out" but keeps the program going just takes longer to save
