error msg on odbc

cheers for your input but the error is with odbc as stated above not with the keep alive this is happening because the database cant connect.

i have searched the forums and could not locate a thread which has had either the same or similar problem to the one i am currently experiancing.

Looking carefully at your screenie i notice it says SQL server does not exist or access denied :/ im not ver familier with SQL 2005 but have you set it up right using ur host name and correct SQL password???
for example
SQL HOST= HOME-PC\SQLEXPRESS
SQLUSER= <$Username>
SQLPASS= <$password used during installation>

no you put it like that it makes sense i quess i should have looked here earlier as i have just put sql 2000 back on and server worked DOH

Yer in the !setup txt in M2Server it says SQLtype mssql u need to change tht to mysql and then change the Sql host from either 127.0.0.1 or (local) to what i put in my last post but its what ever your Pc is called.
