Is very usefull to update your clients files just make sure you configure it right or you will get errors and files downloading even though the client has the latest files..


Sample !plist.lst file and instructions etc included to show you the correct format.

dont get your meaning ?
do you mean post a !plist.lst containing pre edited files list?

if so its not the best idea as different servers will use different files, my server has a few hundred files listed but the format of the !plist might not work for someone else as their files may be bigger/smaller etc ...

Yeah i tested it again but the date format is still wrong i didnt have the heart to hasstle you again :P

If you can be bothered to edit it again the date format in the genartor is 2004/20/05 where it should be 2004-05-20 YYYY-MM-DD but everything else is correct.


The thing is its quite picky at getting the correct format or it causes the ptcher to re-patch.
As ever, totally appreciate the work you do for noobs like me :P just didnt want to hasstle you.

I just did a file and it came out like this:

Z 2000/06/29 13:32 6:38 frmMain.frx /frmMain.frx.gz

Which is obviously yyyy-mm-dd because of the 29.

So I don't know how your managing to make it come out differently. Ill attach it again just incase its a different version. Oh and you should always tell me when something doesn't work lol - otherwise it stays broken.

yeah but the date format needs to be seperated by a "-" not a "/" this is whats causing the error in the file checking i think :P

change the settings there... make it english (US)
