exp multiply items

I have seen a db setting for a ring which affects EXP...

only problem i cant figure out what to change to adjust the exp....

i have tried several different combinations... and when killing a scarecrow without it on.. i get 15 exp.... with it on i get 3...

anyone know what needs to be altered to get this working properly?

the exp is worked out by the dura
E.G
dura 20 = 2x
dura 30 = 3x
dura 65 = 6.5x
Ya get the picture lol, however this is how i have worked it out on rings, not rle sure bowt other items.
Take into account that when the dura drops so does the exp and once it is below dura 10 the exp goes below 1x (if ring is dura 2 and u kill a scarecrow @ 15 exp you will only get 3 exp whilst wearing exp ring)
Makes them pretty pointless imo tbh as high dura just takes the mick

i was gonna post on this earlier, i know it works with dura.. but then when i went and tested i couldnt seem to get it to work at all

would u mind postin the item uve used, the full line.. that shows stdmode, stats etc

i couldnt figure it out, i tried both ring stdmodes, diff duras, even adjusted the setup, maybe it just dont work on the 2.6 files lol

last i knew it was meant to be anicount.. lol

only thing i can think of that anicount controles is holy..

its defo shape, jus like shape controles set features (recall 5 string etc) para, anti para, protection, clear, the list goes on lol.

if 2.6 files are different, then dunno lol, ull have to look @ ur code

its defo in my FLD_SHAPE and yes as GOMEE said its 6.5x exp
dura works by the 1000 ( dura 1 = 1000 in db, dura 32 = 32000 in db) but im guessing you already know this lol

dura works with however u put it in setup, its same with the PowerRate item


ItemExpRate=1000

means that every 1000 Dura = x1 EXP

if u change it so

ItemExpRate=10000

then 10000 (aka 10 dura) will be x10... so 20000 for x2 etc



this works same for the power rate items


reason i could never get this workin cause i always thought it went in anicount and never rly bothered to properly test it out, so thanks.

Out of intrest how do you get the hp steal to work on a ring? I've tryed a few things and still cant get it to work.

select option the itemfunction
put in this box 21670 (this is x3 exp )

put 141 in FLD_SHAPE

and walla there ya go...

and what about the ppl workin from 2.6 server files that dont have a translated m2 server?

yer nice 1, his guides well helpful.

or maybe he just couldnt explain it fully

that confuses the **** out of me tbh...

141 on wht item?? just ring? neckys? braces?

i understand the whole itemfunction ****...

but @lease with wot aka said, u know exactly wht ur lookin @ lol
