have you change all 5 ips in sql? and setup odbc correctly?
and also, no you can run them in any order you want.
i recommend..
selchargate, logingate, loginsrv, dbsrv, cd.exe, rungate.
but like i said, it really doesnt matter.

Did you by Chance do the !Setup with the Included program? I can run the Server Exe with nothing else running - it does not depend on whats running first and all that. Check IP's in any txt file inside Setup folder for a start and then make sure your !Setup is edited. Now run ONLY the Server EXE on its own...
Are you sure you followed my guide - I even make some Pretty Pictures and everything...OK back to me trying to break my Server (its very hard for me to do that though lol)..

Yea all those are set to 127.0.0.1
also in CD.ini i have to use "CARL\SQL" as the IP other wise the CD.exe doesnt open. This shouldnt matter should it. Its becuase i messed up the SQL server and it doesnt run on (local) lol.
Yea i used the !setup.exe all Ips in that folder set to 127.0.0.1, all database setting correct and i changed all the dirs.
EDIT (WORKING)
Right i downloaded the console3.exe program and noticed (becuase it english) it says Game3G DB IP and Hero3G DB IP becuase i dont run the server on local or 127.0.0.1 its on CARL\SQL i need to put that in instead of an IP address.
But least the server is loading now i just goto put the maps in.
