Most are done but need coffee and break.

to do in this Envir/Convert_Def/Market_Def are :-

all Quest.txt's
all Move.txt's(teleport)

MonItems/Spawns/Items/Magic/Mobs all done

See XLS files for Imports to SQL

Contents

AFR Scripts (Advanced Find and Replace) for Items/Mobs and the Fixes for them
XLS files for importing into SQL For Items (200 NEW items to do - IS compatable with previous servers)
MonDef/Items / all gens 100% english and complete

ALL to EUROMIR names - 100% Correct, took me about 3hrs for that lot

can a mod merge my posts pls? hit the wrong button :P

SQL - > KingforeiserverBasedata - delete all data in the 3 main tables (King_*)
SQL - > KingforeiserverBasedata - Import Data from XLS - add in the stuff without the "$" on the end, let it run thru then look at all the purdy english names *drool*

yeah, just drag and drop the rest of the stuff, i'll make a backup of the stuff in a sec :)!

Sorry for Butting in like some Homo - but I already translated the JOb files + the 3G files - why on earth are you lot re-doing this all from scratch ??? took me about 5 mins to sort the Kings DB out - matter of exporting my version, bit of copy and pasting and importing back in. Mapinfo was done as was mob spawns and drops - why re-invent the wheel? The same goes for STR RES - only the very bottom of the file has been added to.

The only thing you need to do really is match the Merchant.txt to the names - again you can use the 3G i did as a comparison. The layout of the NPC txt files are mostly the same as JOB are they not?

Anyhow - good that you are all helping out - so hats off to Tasha but I def wont be re-translting anything - not when I have done it twice already...

Lol mate, i did that with these, i just copied the old db, STDMode compared, made the necc changes, input the old stuff etc, spawns n the like i wanted to make sure were correct, so 5 minutes with AFR sorted them, and the drops are a hell of a lot different to the old ones so they had to be done, i not silly ;) i've had english basics for about 2 days now

thats usually due to an npc spawning on the outside of a map/in a wall.

make sure you have all the neccesary maps (The 3g - not job ones)

i'm sure you have, O_o

Update:

me and a mate did most of the Convert_Def / Market_def folder, well upto the teleport npc's

been a bit slack at the working cuz i've not long got over food poisoning -_-

...but my NPcs are still Chinese and the text they are speaking is still chinese. :think:

Any ideas what file/files/diretories I've missed? :whathuh:

to change npc names u must adjust the merchant.txt file
