i found a way to cast shadows.
i made the shadow green so it would be easy to write a tool that discards all but the green pixels.
put a checkerboard over it and re-color it .

yes your right i still got some work to do before it would even fit mir.
the biggest problem imo will be recreating the existing armours so you could add animations to the standard ones.

its been a long time since i showed myself.
i had alot of problems with crashed HardDrives ( losing alot of projects )
although i still managed to continue some projects.

with the .mel script you can export fast enough.
you can just crop the images with the tools i provided.
for the placements tho there should be a faster solution but not until someone has a good enough player model to calculate the hand coords(frame placement)

im sure they coded a new map function similar to a lightspot ;)
that just shows as a lightspot for our mapeditors
it would just be confusing for them to use a lightspot with multiple purposes...
thats just the old mapeditor source in the GameOfMir Package that Mental hosted a long time ago ;)
i have coded extra objects onto this but it whas back when i still used ledu.
