If you mean the first one he did; that's ShadowShift - it's a 'move to mouse location' skill (bit like shadowstep from chrons) - each class gets their own version of it

NPCs were done before starting on skills.
Can add smoothmove to it fairly easily if that's what you mean - not a huge priority for me atm though. Most people dont like smoothmove even (weirdos)
No discord, just posting on here whenever there is some news to share. As of this evening all base mobs are finished :)

Skill tree UI + some basic skills
Tidy up any other broken UI (group / guild etc)
Still working on getting some of the initial monster AIs sorted, we're planning to get everything done from monster1 and monster2 files before release (there are up to 8 monster files). We've also added player sounds this evening; die, attack, struck etc...
Work has picked up again the past few days. Progress is good; converting more WoooL libs (there is alot of them), basic human frames are complete, currently working on monster frames and sounds. @Sanity has been doing gods work with the envir/DB side of things
Euro ended on 2.3 - the phillipine code will be the right one (which is on mirfiles). You'll have a rough time getting it set up though since nobody has used it for years
Some people might not agree with the decisions he made on his servers in the past, but he is a good guy and has gone out of his way to help plenty of people here many times, and; more importantly he is "one of us" - we're a small community of boomers still addicted to a nearly 25 year old game...
If you can just block the email address sending messages and unsubscribe from the mailing lists without too much effort thats what id do personally, if they see no reaction from you theyll soon get bored and go away.
Youll just end up in and endless back and forth tit for tat otherwise, not...
